Adrian Talotti Proestos - 4/23/2011 2:03:13 AM Markham, Ontario, Canada On April 20th 2011, the HMCS Oriole's galley caught fire while 14 high school students including myself were on board. The crew handled the situation admirably, thinking for the safety of the students on board while dealing with the fire and keeping the damage to a minimum. I speak for all of the students when I say that it would be an honour to sail with the crew of the HMCS Oriole again. Jody Scriver - 9/11/2010 10:20:50 PM Victoria, BC, I saw the Oriole today off of Cattle Point. Every time I see her it reminds me when I was a teenager and I got a tour the beautiful ship when she was in Sidney BC. We also saw her in the waters near Nanaimo in August with her sails out. You are all very lucky to have a chance to sail this beautiful ship. Enjoy and know I do when I see her!!! Harvey Corman, CD2 - 8/31/2010 6:05:42 PM Medicine hart, alberta, Canada From what we can see of your web site this looks like a beautiful ship. Our son tells me he loves being on it. Hope to see it around Sept 10th. Until then, fair sailing.
