My Grandfather Jack Wilson was on HMCS OTTAWA when she was sunk by a torpedo. I know they were attacked by jelly fish and that only about 1 of 3 survived. Unfortunatley he died whilst I was just a baby so I never really knew him. My Grandmother rarely spoke of him as he sadly took his own life in 1976. I would be thrilled to learn about his life and travels! Please if you knew him, or even any stories about him , nothing is too small!!! Thank You KIM

In Memory James Michael Gray 1961 - 1988 In 1978 my father Joined the Royal Canadian Navy, he was Posted to Serve NATO on the HMCS OTTAWA. In 1979 when I was born he quit the navy to be a single father. Drawn to a life on the water he became a fisherman. Providing for his family he died at sea along side his brother on March. 8. 1988. I and His surviving family are very proud that he served our country, and while I chose to live my life on land I hope I have made him proud.
