The second goal of the Navy Heritage Project is to undertake the production of a video documentary of the history of the Naval Service of Canada.
This will be a significant piece of work – nearly 12 hours in length – incorporating rarely seen video and photographs from the National Archives, the National Film Board of Canada and other copyright holders.Historical data, extracted from video interviews with ‘first-hand’ witnesses to events will be included as will the latest in computer animations to provide the details to many significant events in the history of the Navy.
It will be made available on HD DVDs as a matter of course.
